Day 1: Mongol nomadic tourist camp and Khustai Nuruu

NOMADIC ART GER GALLERY is open every day for everyone who visits us. We consider it a place to spend your free time effectively and stop for a while. We aim to introduce the fine arts sector of Mongolia to international tourists. We will be presenting exhibitions throughout the summer with the works of the best artists representing the fine arts. Sales and sales services will be available. There will also be a SOUVENIR SHOP in this gallery section. Of course, there will be Mongolian branded products.

Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at 9 am. You will continue driving to Hustai National Park, 110 km to west of Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival at the Hustai ger camp, check in the Ger camp and visit the information centre. A short documentary would be a good start to get to know about Hustai National Park and its flora and fauna.

Wild life exploration in Hustai National Park will be one of the highlights of the trip where you will encounter the Wild Horse ‘Takhi’, the only wild species of horse in the world. Takhi have being reintroduced since the 1990’s and this is the only place where you can see this beautiful animal in the wild. In the evening, enjoy sparkling stars in a pitch dark sky in a peaceful rural setting.

Day 2: Leisure and Back to Ulaanbaatar

After breakfast, enjoy morning walk in the hills of Hustai National Park. Optional horse riding is available at your own cost. After lunch, you will visit a local herder family near the national park and experience centuries old nomadic culture of Mongolia.  En-route, you will stop at Ungut monument, one of the largest collections of stone men in Mongolia. A stone man or otherwise known as a balbal dates back the 6th century AD during the Turkic statehood existed at current Mongolia’s territory. You will also explore a deer stone, Bronze Age monument dating 3000-6000 years. You will continue driving to Ulaanbaatar in the afternoon.
